Dear Messiah Watch International Visitor,
Last evening I had an interesting discussion with a gentleman. When it came around to me expressing my understanding that present world events herald the imminent arrival of Judaism’s King Messiah he tried to shoot my point down by saying something like “Oh… countless prior circumstances in human history have generated such beliefs before.”
He is right about that, actually. Which of course raises the question:- “What is unique to our present circumstances that prior periods of similar expectation lacked?”
First on the list is the fact that for the past 2,000 years approximately Jews have not been ingathered to the Holy Land. That began to happen in 1948 in serious numbers. The first of the three Biblical citations that Maimonides references to the Messiah King and his role and requirements is this:-

Deuteronomy 30:3-5
And the Lord your G-d will bring back your captivity and have compassion upon you. He will return and gather you [from among all the nations].... Even if your dispersed ones are in the furthest reaches of the heavens, [from there will G-d gather you in].... G-d will bring you [to the land]....

An ingathering of Jews to The Land has indeed begun under the auspices of what is basically a non-kosher government formula that rules Israel, namely, the State, past and presently.
For reasons known to God the thread of events related to Judaism’s King Messiah weaves through several Biblical events that of themselves are “black” in appearance…as in unholy. The incident of Lot and his relations with his 2 daughters is one such Messiah-related incident. Similarly so with Judah and Tamar. An explanation given to me by an Australian Rabbi (who shall remain nameless) was that some matters on Earth are so high in their Spiritual Source… that nature can only contain them in the form of “black” events.
This is an extremely dangerous concept. What it does not mean is that all “black”, unholy events…specifically sins….have a hidden Source in the Upper Realms. Do not go there.
Kaballah teaches that 288 Sparks of Divine Origin fell into Creation, the physical world, and were subdivided plentifully and scattered throughout the physical world. Every time a Jew makes a Blessing on food or in relation to fulfilling a Torah Commandment ..his Blessing elevates that local Spark (within the Jew’s area of influence) back to its Divine Source. Kaballa also teaches that specifically for getting this “Sparks-raising” job done…were the Jews scattered around the globe before and after the destruction of the Second Temple within this subsequent 4th and Final Exile.
For the umpteenth time…the most authoritative office in Orthodox Judaism is occupied by the true Proven Jewish Prophet. No one else is even close.
In 1988 the Lubavitcher Rebbe, a true and Proven Jewish Prophet, announced that the collective job of Jews throughout history elevating the 288 Sparks had been completed. The collective Spiritual work of all Jews since Abraham had accomplished this multi-millennial Divine Task. Such an epochal announcement had never before been given from any prior Jewish Prophet…which gives this present Messianic Era expectation unprecedented Torah Legal “teeth” like no prior expectation period.
Another unique feature to this indeed being the actual period of the Messianic Era is found in this next citation:-

No prior Messiah-expectation period has had our present nuclear arsenal capable of obliterating all life on our planet.
Next unique event:- There is nothing more mainstream to mainstream Orthodox Judaism than Talmud. So when the Talmud (Yoma 10A) tells us…

…that, Ben David [Judaism’s King Messiah] doesn't come until that the Parasiyim (Persians) will fall to the Romiyim (Romans or Edom [the Christian West]). And it then continues to say that if the time of the ketz [end] has been reached, never the less the Redemption will be delayed until the Persians fall into the hand of the Romans. And it emphasizes that this delay is to be for 9 months, the length of the term of pregnancy which is also the length of time needed for Rome to become strong enough to conquer Persia.

…then we have nothing less than God telling us through His Prophecy-Blessed Sages of the Talmud that this war we are seeing to unfold in the headlines now is what they were speaking about. No prior…ABSOLUTELY No prior!!! Messiah-expectation period has had our present swarm of Messianic Era Prophecies being fulfilled in the exponential manner that has been occurring since the middle of the Industrial Revolution. This swarm of Messages and events related to it are just getting louder and louder…they can no longer be dismissed or discounted. WE HAVE A SITUATION!!!
The magnitude of what we are facing as a planet defies my abilities to adequately explain. For myself it’s much like having read a play and then going to see it acted professionally. The outcome is already known.
There are no words to explain to you how overwhelmed with anxiety I was when all this began to hit home for me. Full disclosure demands that I inform you of two more matters. They are not pleasant.
The Book of Jewish Prophets is full to the brim with horrific Messianic Era Prophecies that bespeak unmentionable horrors that are associated with this period. It is beyond my sense of reality contact to even imagine that mankind will somehow immediately repent of all the Godless evil it is presently involved in. Such repentance alone has the power to avert Divine Decrees of punishment.
Dov in Jerusalem reaffirmed my fears in this regard. In an email he told me “We are dealing with more than 3,700 years of Divine Judgment for man’s evil against God and to his fellow man that has yet to be dispensed.”
I knew that back in 1991. Natural disasters have been increasing in frequency and intensity. The laundry list of what is to occur will rob you of future nights’ sleep.
This was recently posted on a Jewish King Messiah website. It has not been confirmed but I have reason to believe that it is accurate.
