This email is a translation of some passages from Judaism's Kaballah (Sacred Mystic Wisdom) written down some 1800 years ago. Yakov's email will not be an easy read. But there is enough detail in Yakov's email to clearly see the Shoemaker-Levy-9 asteroid event of 1994 and most important...what Kaballah states that it signifies. You need to appreciate that the texts quoted below were written down around 1800 years ago by Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the author of the Holy Zohar (also called the Kaballah). How could one man foresee something that would happen to Jupiter 1800 years before it happened in 1994? This literally is a fulfilled Prophecy having been fulfilled in our days!!! The first is in parshat Shemot starting on page 7a through 10a (chapter 96 through 156). The second is in parshat Balak appearing on page 212b (chapter 501 through 507). It is worth pointing out that these two sections are very difficult to understand without relying on the classic commentaries which go with them. The primary ones I use are Or Yakar of Rabbi Moshe Cordevero, Or HaChama from Chacham Avraham Azulai and HaSulam from Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag. There are people who are hesitant to use Ashlag because of a current deviant religious group which associates their activities with Rabbi Ashlag but for understanding the meaning of words and cross referencing variant texts, it is a good source. I apologize in advance for any lacking in the translation. I am taking the liberty of rendering some expressions into the context of the text as the commentaries explain them rather than as word for word. An example of this would be the expression "strikes of flaming fire exploding with every piece of comet". The actual text reads "strikes of flaming fire exploding with every traveler" but the text is explained according to the translation I have rendered. The "planet arising in the east" is understood to be what is currently called Jupiter. In Torah, this planet is called Tzedek and is associated with Kingship, arousing teshuvah [repentence] and the flow of life and good. The planet with dominion in the east during the [Hebrew] month of Av [when this occurred in 1994] is Tzedek [Jupiter] according to Sefer Sodei Razayei of the Rabbi Eliezer of Worms, the Rokeach. The section dealing with the comet and its aftermath appears in Shemot chapters 101-103. In the preceding paragraphs, it described how King Moshiach will be in the world already and what kind of things will be going on. It associates this with an expression of a "pillar of fire" coming from above to below. In the commentary of Rabbi Moshe Cordevero it states explicitly in the name of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai on this section that this is the beginning of the redemption. [emphasis is mine] The 7 "heavenly bodies" or comet pieces are associated with the dominion of the 70 gentile nations of the world and are also associated with the 70 cattle offered during Succot [Feast of Tabernacles] which culminate with the Hoshanna Rabba offering [part of this Jewish Holiday]. This is the reason why there is a variant Zohar text exchanging 7 for 70. The attack 3 times a day is an assault against the revelation of holiness in the world established through the 3 prayers of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The commentaries explain that just like the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem was preceded by a heavenly announcement, so too the rebuilding of the Temple and the establishment of Moshiach [King Messiah] as King would be preceded by this heavenly announcement. "101) To decree the 40 days that the pillar will rise from the earth to heaven before the eyes of the entire world and Moshiach's revelation, there will arise from the east, one planet glowing with all colors and seven other heavenly bodies which surround this planet. They will turn toward it making war with it on every side, three times a day for seven days and the entire world will observe them. 102) This planet will make war with them, strikes of flaming fire exploding with every piece of comet. It will strike at them until all traces of them are consumed and until the day it is free from them. This war will be conducted before the eyes of the entire world and so it will be every day for seven days. This is to decree that seven days this planet will be hidden and Moshiach will be hidden for 12 months and will be crowned with this pillar of fire as will be mentioned later.
