It was 1991. I was living in Montreal, Canada and frequently visiting 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn New York, 11213. That is the address of World Chabad - Lubavitch Headquarters. It served many purposes. It's main purpose was to serve as a House of Prayer and Torah Study for the thousands of Chassidic Jews who live in the area and tens of thousands more who travel from all over the globe to get their souls elevated, cleansed, revived and properly focused. It's leader, the world famous Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, known better as "the Rebbe" used this location to change the face of world Judaism. But there was much more going on that a casual visitor would not have noticed.
Rabbi Schneerson humbly revealed (via close scrutiny of his numerous Chassidic Discourses and letters to Jews and Gentiles)...that he indeed was a true, proven Jewish Prophet. 42 years of such Prophecy from himself occurred at that address.Those close to the Rebbe knew of this fact. The outside world is still unaware for the most part.
He foretold the collapse of the former Soviet Union some 12 years prior to that event occurring. Way ahead of the CIA's even thinking about it.
Miracles were so common place around the Rebbe that the Rebbe's wife characterized them as "rolling (plentifully) around the floor".
Few people are aware of the paramount power of a true Jewish Prophet. Jewish Religious Law and a true, Proven Jewish Prophet rule the roost in Judaism. The Law states that a true, Proven Jewish Prophet must be believed and obeyed. He has even more power than a Jewish King! Why so? Because the Jewish Prophet gets "Messages" from God. Put differently...Rabbi Schneerson is equal to Daniel, Isaiah, Zechariah and other Prophets recorded in the Jewish Book of Prophets.
When the Rebbe spoke...world Jewry listened..especially little me from Montreal.
We were repeatedly informed by the Rebbe circa 1991 (and onwards) as a clear and certain Prophecy that the time for the Redemption of the Jewish people (and all of mankind) had arrived. In his humble and soft spoken voice the Rebbe had made the most historic announcement in the entirety of human history. The magnitude of what that Prophecy announcement conveys will affect and define all subsequent events in our entire Universe.
Even more astounding events occurred. A Chassidic teenager had been crushed to death by a collapsed bleacher used to listen to the Rebbe's discourses. The paramedic screamed "Rebbe! Rebbe!" and shook his head "no" to indicate that the teenager had died. The Rebbe nodded his head once at the dead boy and the immediately resurrected teenager again had vital signs.
For some 40 years there had been speculation that Rabbi Schneerson was Judaism's Messiah. Any such publicity from within his organization to that effect was seriously discouraged by the Rebbe. It was never claimed to be false. It was just discouraged for concern for what such publicity could bring were the fact prematurely revealed. Circa 1991 the time to let the matter out to the world had arrived. The prohibition of the prior 40 years was reversed. Using his unique style of language the Rebbe identified himself as Judaism's King Messiah, the actual long awaited Final Redeemer promised in the Five Books of Moses and the Book of Prophets. The existence of Judaism's Messiah had been affirmed by non less that a true Proven Jewish Prophet. That is the highest certainty threshold that Judaism affords.
For the sake of full disclosure I wish to share that I had need to verify the validity of these events. Judaism has suffered false "Messiahs" in the past. The Nazarene and Shabbatai Tzvi being just two such cases. It is now 2006 when I write this. I have no more doubts nor questions. I've invested to date some 15 years of investigation into this matter. I have read the flood of commentary on this situation from the greatest Torah Sages of our days. CONCLUSION:- It's the real deal. It had to happen at one time or another in Jewish history. That time is undeniably now. World events seemingly unconnected to the Rebbe are affirming it. In fact they are directly connected to the Rebbe. But that requires deep explanations that are not for here.
Rabbis who are learned about the matters pertaining to how Judaism accurately ascertains its true Messiah are stating on five continents exactly the same as I do at this website. Some are intimidated to share their knowings of this matter. I am not. We indeed have a situation here which will forever change subsequent human history. The need is not to confront and argue. The need is to share and explain matters that originated in Judaism and which only Judaism has jurisdiction over.
The need is for Judaism to lower historic walls and allow all to see in and grasp present world events from the perspective of End of Days foreknowledge found in Sacred Jewish Sources.
Countless billions of good, honest and trusting Christians were sold a lie posing as "Divine Truth" in the Gospels. That lie is now unraveling. Christianity is in for the greatest awakening in the entirety of its history.
What will occur here forward is both terrifying and yet inspiring. We are headed back to the Garden of Eden...that's the end result. Along the way many will die.
It is to save as much human life as possible that this website is dedicated.
I tell you in no uncertain terms that Rabbi Schneerson will reappear soon. His reported "death" in 1994 doesn't mean a thing. The "death" of Judaism's King Messiah is part of the process of his ultimate revelation to the entire world. The matter is founded in Torah and was explained in depth by the Rebbe.
